And then, there was Wednesday
Today was a little hectic, to say the least. I was packing my junk up at work, since I’ll be moving cubicles on Friday. Just as I was getting ready for lunch, my manager swings by and drags me off into a three-hour meeting. Yes, a three-hour meeting *hears the Giligan’s Island theme in the background*So, needless to say, I didn’t get lunch today.
Breakfast was the granola cereal, man that stuff is great.
Dinner was Chicken Pizzaiola. Pizzaiola. What a funny word. It mushes around in my mouth a lot like the NS chicken does. I don’t mind it as much when the chicken is cut up, but a whole chicken breast, which is the consistency of Spam, is just too much. The sauce it was in had a cheesy flavor to it, which wasn’t bad. But, again, the mushy chicken draws down the score to a C.
The Peanutbutter cookie for dessert was pretty decent. It wasn’t very sweet, but had a nice nutty taste - the type of nutty taste I understand is to be expected of peanutbutter. I nuked it for about 7 seconds, which made it a lot better.
*I’ve updated the blog 2 days in a row! Heck, even I’M impressed!*

He he – I also had the Chicken Pizzaiola (?) as one of my first chicken breast meals and I agree with you 100%. The “mystery meat” is good in small chuck like size but as a full breast size – yuk ! Too much mystery meat all at once, it has kinda scared me from trying any of the other “chicken breast” meals! lol I tend to stick to the pasta, beef and pizza meals!
Thanks for posting on my blog – I just love getting comments, makes me feel like people are actually reading it! hehe In regards to your comment, i think that is the whole reason why I only told a few people that i was on a diet cause when i do start getting comments I want to be sure that they are sincere and not just cause they are expected to say something!?

Hey there Annie!
I think that telling a few peopl makes sense. It forces you to be accountable to those that you have told (you don’t want them to ask why you aren’t losing weight), yet it also doesn’t let everyone in on the fact that you’re slimming down (so, you should be getting some honest feedback from those people). I guess the big bummer for me is that I see my family and coworkers every day, so they’re probably less likely to notice any fluctuation in my weight or size. I only see the girlfriend on the weekends, but she claims to have a “mental image” of me, so she can’t tell either. But I guess that’s why people suggest taking a picture of yourself every couple of months. That way, you can see the change for yourself. Which reminds me, I need to take a picture this weekend… talk about a downer!
